This Privacy Policy explains how Elispeak (“ELI”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information when you use our website, applications, and related services.

• Usage data such as session activity, feature interactions, and device/browser metadata.
• Payment and subscription metadata from payment providers (we do not store full card numbers).
• Support communications you send to us.
• Voice recordings and text chat inputs provided during your interactions with our AI tutors.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide and operate the service.
• Personalize and improve speaking practice experiences.
• Process subscriptions, billing, and account administration.
• Detect abuse, fraud, and security issues.
• Communicate product updates, support replies, and service notices.

4. Legal bases

Where applicable, we process personal data based on one or more legal bases, including contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligations, and consent.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for core functionality, analytics, and product improvement. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

We may share information with trusted service providers that help us run Elispeak (for example hosting, analytics, and payment processing), under contractual safeguards. This includes third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI and Anthropic) which we use as Subprocessors to transcribe your voice and generate AI responses. We may also disclose information when required by law.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including legal, accounting, and security requirements. To comply with data minimization principles, we will automatically delete user accounts and all associated data after 24 months of inactivity.

8. Data security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. When required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

10. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise your Right to Portability (data export), please email us at igo@mail.aiuxslabs.com and we will provide a copy of your data within 30 days. You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the app settings.

11. Children’s privacy

Elispeak is restricted to users who are at least 16 years of age. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us and we will investigate.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material updates will be communicated as required by law. Continued use after updates means the revised policy applies.
